In a dimly lit office, the air was thick with anticipation as a petite woman waited for her job interview to begin. Dressed in a conservative black pantsuit, she nervously tapped her fingers against the desk, unable to shake off the butterflies in her stomach. Little did she know, her interviewer was on their way, and she was about to experience a job interview like no other.
As the door opened, in walked a towering figure, their booming voice echoing through the room. They were dressed in an impeccable suit that seemed to dwarf their frame, making the woman feel even smaller in comparison. Their eyes scanned the room before locking onto her, causing her heart to race uncontrollably. "You must be the candidate for the position," they said, their deep voice rumbling through her bones.
The woman couldn't help but notice their size as they approached her desk, every step causing the floor to shake slightly. They reached out a hand, and she took it hesitantly, feeling like she was being swallowed up by their massive grip. "Please, have a seat," they said, gesturing towards the chair in front of their desk.
As she sat down, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by their presence. Every word they spoke seemed to carry so much weight, and she found herself nodding along like a bobblehead doll. Their questions were intense, probing, and left her feeling exposed. With every passing minute, she felt smaller and more insignificant in their presence.
Suddenly, without warning, the interviewer leaned over their desk, their towering figure looming menacingly over her. She gasped, her heart racing as she tried to make sense of what was happening. "You know what I think?" they said, their voice dropping to a low growl. "I think you're not cut out for this job."
The woman's heart sank, her entire world crashing down around her. She had failed. She had let herself believe that maybe, just maybe, she had a chance. But now, it seemed like it was all over. As she stood up to leave, she felt like she was barely taller than the chair she had just vacated.
"Don't worry," the interviewer said, their voice laced with mock sympathy. "Maybe next time you'll be more prepared." With that, they turned their back on her, leaving her to stumble away in disbelief. The interview was over, and she was left to pick up the pieces of her shattered dreams.
