Unbeknownst to him, it had also caught the eye of a towering giantess who sought its power for herself. As he slunk into the dark, dusty room where the gem rested upon a pedestal, his heart pounding with anticipation, he didn't notice the shimmering aura around him. He reached out and grasped the jewel, feeling its heat sear through his fingers. Suddenly, a deafening roar echoed through the room, and he found himself face-to-face with the giantess herself. Standing at least a hundred feet tall, she towered over him, her eyes burning with fiery rage. The power she wielded was palpable, and he could feel it coursing through every inch of his body. She raised a massive finger towards him, the tip of it nearly touching the ceiling, and pointed it directly at him. "You dare steal from me?" her deep, booming voice thundered, shaking the very foundations of the room. "You will pay for your transgression." The thief trembled before her, his body shaking with fear and anticipation. He knew he had made a mistake, but he couldn't have imagined the consequences of his actions. "Please, I'm sorry," he whimpered, cringing beneath her gaze. "I didn't know it was yours." But the giantess didn't listen. With a furious roar, she reached down and scooped him up in one massive hand, crushing him against her colossal chest. He could feel her heartbeat, a thunderous drum that shook him to his core. "You have awakened my curiosity," she growled, her lips curling into a cruel smile. "I think I shall keep you. You will amuse me until I decide what to do with you." And with that, she disappeared, taking the terrified thief with her.
